Again not many photos this week. We managed to capture a few high points. Huff was being very helpful in Puff’s music class, and so was awarded a star sticker. She was very proud.
Huff was keen to ice her own cupcakes for no reason; we ended up sharing them out for church morning tea, where they were very well received.
Mum was busy over the weekend, so Dad looked after the kids for the day – because the kids were a bit unwell, it was a trip to watch Minions in the morning. Here’s Puff sitting in his seat waiting for the movie to start.
On the way home, we stopped for some lunch (no-one was very hungry after the popcorn) and some analogue play. Huff was making numbers with these wooden pegs. Puff borrowed enough pegs from his sister to make a 4-digit Fibonacci number, and then went back to drinking his milkshake.
We had a church dinner to go to in the evening, so Dad made the kids have a bit of a nap in the afternoon, then we had a pretty quiet day at home.
Huff is showing more interest in writing individual letters out, and then asking what word she has spelled. She still has a small list of words that Dad makes her recognise and read mid-story, but only a limited attention span for such things.
And that was about it for this week. See you next week!
