We are near the end of the school year and really feeling it. Tempers are shorter, and being summer time, the days are getting longer.
Dad took Huff out for breakfast and a walk on Saturday morning. It was a bit of a bushwalk. Huff saw a particular rock, and then climbed up on it to do this heroic pose.
Her backpack contained a water bottle and some pretzels for snacking. It was a closed loop in a bush park, but there was a certain amount of concern on her part that we would somehow be lost in the woods.
We made it back, in time for a Christmas gathering. We gave the gift of outdoor throw-throw-burrito, which the kids enjoyed playing with.
Oh, and on Friday night, Puff had the chance to paint a mask with his own design. The beak theme is still strong with him.
We’re really looking forward to the end of the school year, which will not be far off now!
