Another busy week; one with lots of rain in Sydney and beyond. Mum and the kids picked up Dad from after his conference and then we went to visit their cousin for dinner. The kids had a great time playing with play doh.
Our week is still overshadowed by Angry Bird toys; Puff has come up with a game of “think fast… throw Angry Birds at Dad” and Dad plays a similar game with Puff.
Sunday we visited Doc and Grandma to celebrate Doc’s birthday. Huff ended up with ribbons in her hair, which she was very happy about.
Huff has been more and more interested in reading her readers aloud to people. On Saturday we went to the movies to watch Octonauts, which was a little surreal – it’s odd to see them on the big screen. From there, Dad and the kids went home, and Dad played screens with Huff, and then encouraged Puff to try some programming, starting with a few rounds of Human Resource Machine. He’s a big fan of the Scratch programming language, devouring a library book on it, and already trying a number of different programs out.
